Reforestation of the Amazon Rainforest
This project aims to restore deforested areas in the Amazon by planting native tree species and working with local communities to protect these reforested zones. The project focuses on reversing deforestation to maintain biodiversity and provide sustainable livelihoods for indigenous populations.
By seeking funding in Lincoln Crypto Token (LIC), this project leverages a community-driven, climate-conscious funding model that aligns closely with its goals of ecological restoration and community empowerment. LIC funding will allow us to scale up tree-planting efforts while raising awareness on climate issues with the introduction of the token as a way of supporting trade among key stakeholders.
Objectives: Restoring deforested areas in the Amazon to sequester carbon, preserve biodiversity, and support indigenous communities.
Funding Target: $1,000,000 (62,500,000 LIC)
Climate Impact: Targeted to sequester 500,000 tons of CO₂ annually.
