Sustainable Agroforestry Development in Central Africa
This project promotes sustainable agroforestry practices among small-scale farmers in Cameroon by integrating trees into agricultural landscapes. Agroforestry helps prevent soil erosion, improves soil fertility, and provides farmers with diversified income sources through the sale of timber, fruits, and other tree products. This approach not only improves agricultural yields but also creates a resilient farming system that can better withstand climate impacts.
Objective: Aims to sequester 120,000 tons of CO₂ annually and increase climate resilience for 60,000 farmers and their families by promoting sustainable, productive farming systems.
